Lo que da mayor emoción en todo esto de los cruceros es su temática y el lugar donde se efectuara, este año le toco a Louis Vuitton dar un giro de 180° para aterrizar en Kyoto Japón, un entorno bastante distinto al anterior (Río de Janeiro), proporcionando una nueva colección llena de toques vanguardistas al mando de Nicholas Gesquière,quien lleva a LV a otro nivel.

Específicamente fue celebrado en el museo Miho de Kyoto,una estructura llena de cultura, vanguardia, modernidad... verdaderamente inspiradora construida en 1997 por I.M Pei, escenario indicado para el desfile.

Las prendas fueron completamente incursionadas hacia la cultura japonesa antigua, que remonta de varios siglos atrás, con samuráis, artes marciales, kabukis, dramaturgia de Kurosawa, siluetas marcadas que asemejan armaduras de guerreros nipones, estampados coloridos, mezcla de texturas y colores, todos naturalmente girando entorno a la mujer feminista,trabajadora y sobre todo a la belleza natural.

Las modelos formaron parte importante en el desfile (por su puesto ¡sin modelos no hay desfile!😂) pero en serio dieron mucho de que hablar, ya que casi todas eran asiáticas, con pieles pálidas (representando las geishas) y es más que claro un maquillaje innovador, simplemente increíble, marcando sobre todo la parte de los ojos con delineados que dan vértigo, y cejas marcadas por figuras encantadoras,además de pinceladas coloridas en los pómulos y frente.

Lo que ficho en la pasarela, a mi parecer, fueron las bombers con distintos materiales empleados, los jerséis por supuesto con fajines hechos a mano inspirados en Kansaï Yamamoto y bolsos decorados con las anteriormente mencionadas mascaras kabukis que proporciona carácter al maravilloso trabajo de Gesquière.

Sin duda Louis Vuitton pertenece a la selección favorita de cruceros del público, por su innovación, y la expectativa que nos tienen en cuanto a su temática y el lugar de la celebración, pero primordialmente por sus maravillosos diseños, siendo no solo una firma que da un antes y después en la moda, sino que se convierte en todo un espectáculo cada vez, diciendo presente en todas las temporadas.
